Elecom DEFT PRO M-DPT1MRXBK Trackball

Elecom DEFT PRO M-DPT1MRXBK Trackball

Excellent
The Elecom DEFT PRO is the first trackball to offer three connection types in one device: a wireless connection via Bluetooth or a wireless connection via a 2.4 GHz USB dongle, and thirdly a wired connection via a USB cable. A good update from the regular DEFT model, this is a great new option for smaller finger-operated trackballs.

Logitech M570 Wireless Trackball

Very Good Best Seller
The Logitech M570 Wireless trackball is sexy, smooth and smart. The M570 features a wireless connection, thumb-operated scrollwheel and 5 buttons including Back/Forward. The design might be a bit small for large hands, but overall, this is a very good trackball and currently the best selling trackball.

Logitech Cordless Optical TrackMan

Very Good
The Logitech Cordless Optical Trackman is a strange beast, a one-eyed beetle from outer space that could scurry away from your desk any moment. Once you realise that it is just patiently waiting for your orders, you put your palm on the extra smooth surface (it’s really nice and soft) and discover that this serious trackball means business.

Logitech Trackman wheel optical

Logitech TrackMan Wheel Optical

Very Good
Logitech recently replaced this Trackman Wheel with the new wireless M570, and is currently hard to find. The Trackman wheel is slightly bigger than the M570 and has a wire, but this is exactly why some people prefer it.

Logitech Cordless TrackMan Wheel

Logitech Cordless TrackMan Wheel

Very Good
Logitech recently replaced this Cordless Trackman Wheel with the new wireless M570, and is currently only available in eBay. The Cordless Trackman Wheel is slightly bigger than the M570 and has only two buttons.

Adesso iMouse T1 Trackball

Adesso iMouse T1

Mediocre
The Adesso iMouse T1 is a very basic trackball mouse. One of the few trackballs that is not made by Kensington or Logitech, it’s not bad but we would opt for a Logitech Marble or Kensington Orbit with Scrollwheel if you’re looking for an affordable trackball.
Beware: this trackball is much bigger than you would expect. It has the shape of a normal mouse, but it’s almost twice as long!
